I have been watching a lot of PBS lately. Alright, by a lot, I mean an hour to an hour and a half, but hey, that’s a lot of TV for me. Yesterday I watched something about lions, the day before it was sharks and the day before that is was turtles.

I realized that if I could, I would have some wicked cool pets. Here are my top five:

5. Meerkat. They stand and look cute and are twitchy. They are both cat and ferret like and they roll. It’s really cute.
4. Sea Turtle. They are flappy and cute. When they have little flappy arms, they look like they’re having so much fun. The downside of this pet being that it would outlive me probably three times over.
3. A Lioness. Not a lion, a lioness, female. We could curl up on my bed together and watch the birds from the window. She and I could romp in the backyard chasing squirrels. That would be cool. I would feed her steak and for treats I would give her bacon. Me and her would be buddies. I’d name her Zeeva because having a Lioness called wolf would be amusing.
2. A Galapagos tortoise. He would be in my backyard. I’d build him a little dog house like structure and feed him peanut buttery apples. It would be like having a dog, only less messy, quieter and more tame.
1. A Tarsier. Don’t know what a Tarsier is? This is a Tarsier:

Seriously. Having one as a pet would rock. People would think that I had a pet alien or something. I’d introduce him as “M’ketchlopxlyx” just to add to that feel.
