World Cup Build Up
|
|
37 days until the world goes bloody wacky for soccer (or football, futbol or any other derivation of the name you wish to take). I am in a tizzy trying to keep up with all the games that are leading up to the big game. It’s especially tough because I don’t have cable. This means I have to watch clips online and read up on the games instead. To be honest, reading up on it just isn’t the same, but catching the clips is always fun. You can get pretty good clips from http://www.soccerclips.net/, but you have to know what you’re looking for which can be frustrating. You can also scour the sports pages of various news networks. if you can read Spanish, it’ll be easier, but Britain has a few good pages as well. Just google it. Well, my choices for Group B just got a bit of a shake up. I am going to have to side with Brongar now. He’s convinced me … that and I saw some of the English game the other day. Combine this with the fact the Rooney is out for the count with multiple foot fractures and I think Paraguay will be able to advance now. I think the injury with Rooney will throw off England’s balance and really give them trouble. But, who know, they have 37 days to pull it together. I think they’ll be hurt if they keep him on the roster. Of course, the British guy in the office across from my cube disagrees, but he agrees that it’s a hitch for them in World Cup. Anyway, I am excited. I probably won’t be watching many games as they air because of the whole TV issue, but I will be trying to download as many as I can to watch all in one fell swoop. And I’ll have the news … dry as it may be. Posted by Utopia at May 3, 2006 10:14 AM Trackback PingsTrackBack URL for this entry: CommentsThis has absoutely nothing to do with the World Cup. I've been craving hardcore for some cheese bread and you are the bread lady. I was wondering if you had any recipes for cheese bread around. Found your blog on Technorati. all the best, John Posted by: Great Day Games at May 3, 2006 10:38 AM Live Football is a real good site i had a good experience........... Posted by: Live Football at May 9, 2006 04:06 AM Nowadays, due to the improvements of technology and the development of the Internet everyone can watch live football from a comfortable seat at home, and all this without paying expensive cable or satellite fees. Now you can watch premiership games, champions league soccer, cup matches live, al broadcasted on the Internet, sometimes free and sometimes after paying a small fee. You can enjoy many quality football matches easier then ever. And don't think that you have to buy some extra hardware or anything because all you need is an Internet connection, but it has to be a broadband connection if you want the live football stream to have a high quality. How can you do this? Almost every soccer match that is taking place somewhere in the world is broadcasted through a live football stream that you can access from anywhere and furthermore most of the matches come with an English commentary. If your Internet connection's speed is high enough then the live transmission of the game will be uniinterupted, but this and the quality depends on how busy the server is. There are many websites that are broadcasting live soccer streams and most of these provide high-quality streams and they have more links to choose from because only one would make the line too busy. You also need a player that supports live streaming ( http://www.footy-live.com ) if you wish to watch live football games. The most common players are RealPlayer, MediaPlayer and WinAmp. The websites that provide soccer streams have a list with all the games taking place at the moment and all you need to do is click on the game and the player will open and you can watch it. As simple as that! So whenever there's a major football event you know that it's certainly broadcasted somewhere on the Internet and you can watch everything and you only pay a few dollars!
