The more I learn about Mango, the more he reminds me creepily of myself. I was catching up on old Mango Radio broadcasts of the other dj's because I have fallen woefully behind on them. When listening to Mango's 12/30 broadcast it struck me suddenly that we have a lot of stupid things in common. It's crazy.

Examples:

1. Mango was in jazz band, I was in jazz band.
2. Mango used to swing dance, I used to swing dance.
3. Mango hates stupid people and rants bout it, I hate stupid people and rant about it. Okay, this is not uncommon, but the manner in which we rant is very similar. Eerily similar.
4. We have nearly the same taste in music.
5. We both loathe the same things.
6. We both swear like angry pirates on our radio shows.
7. We have similar tastes in humor.
8. We hate the same blogs with the same hateful and angry wrath.
9. He has his Rebekah and I have my Sparky.

Okay... maybe it's really not all that much in common. Maybe there is some strange dichotomy in the world that it needs a male and a female version of the same person to rant and rave on opposite coasts of the States. So, if we are so similar, should I change my name to something like Papaya? Or should he change his to something like Distopia?

I think we should remain as we are. I suspect the world would implode if we ever met... you just shouldn't have that much unfiltered rage in one place. (Or that much swearing.)
