Johari and Nohari

|
I was wandering about some of the blogs I read on a fairly regular basis and I was reading Vesper's Escape and I found this little thing about Johari Windows. I did a bit of research on it and found a wiki encyclopedia entry for it. And wow, this really seems interesting to me. I try to keep a realistic point of view of myself, but I tend to get a bit haughty about being smart. This is a way that other people can tell me what they think I'm like. The Johari window is a list of positive aspects of yourself. By choosing adjectives about me, you can tell me what you think I'm like and see if they match up to what I think I'm like. It could be I've overblown my view of myself and everyone doesn't think about me what I think about myself. I find this highly likely. The Nohari window is quite similar, except that it lists negative aspects of the self. This was actually easier for me to pick words from. Perhaps it's easier for me to pick on myself than to praise myself. Who knows. Anyway, I know I have a loyal reader or two, so I am posting the links to my Johari and Nohari window. Tell me what you think about me. I can take it. Utopia's Johari Window And suddenly I've become and attention whore. Ack. Ah well. I figure it will be interesting to see what the differences between the people I know only online and the people I actually know are. I know the two personas are slightly different.
