Coyote Woman Sings (a.k.a. I like haiku)

Coyote

Coyote Woman
Walking through the universe
Stars falling inward

Silent Howler's dream
Saguaro twilight evening
Crescent moon rises

My inner totem
Mentor who guides me in life,
laughing me to sleep.

You; trickster-hero,
Sorceress, thief, wanderer,
Teach me in my dreams.

Your toothy grin is
smiling as you sing the moon-
making the night glow.

Coyote Woman
Sing me your lessons, and be
my spirit mother.

Everyone talks
about old Coyote man.
You're his match woman.

Old coyote Man
trouble maker, same as you,
But you don't get caught.

Chaos lives in you.
In me, you breed your power,
creating insight.

You're smarter than truth
Peyote dreams are your pranks
your secret wisdom.

Coyoto Woman
You are me, I am your child
Howling down the Moon.
