Star Shaped Fountain

I saw
   a fountain in the shape of a star.
Lilies on the water.
At night,
   stars reflected off the surface
I reflected on the surface.

My reflections
  is not who I am.
   The reflection of the stars
    that are so distant-
   so far away-
     they shudder on the surface.

I am so far away.

I can touch the reflection,
   but like smoke,
    like water
      it remains ellusive.

I slip through my own fingers.

And fall
into the star shaped fountain
    like water.
