8-bit Theater
This is one of the funniest of the "sprite" cartoons out there. If you have a love for final fantasy, then you’ll enjoy this one. Sarcastic humor and dark satire abounds combined with a light hearted dribble for those who don’t like their humour as high brow as others. Read it for no other reason than “death of a thousand stabs”.
Alice
This is just a fun comic. No seriousness, just kids and imagination. Alice is a girl whom definitely has more than her fair share of dreams, fantasies and adventures. This is a fun comic for when you don’t really want to think. Few serious plots and just enjoyable. Sparse updates as the author is considering setting Alice aside in favor of paying comics.
Ban the Basics!
Kid geniuses in a class. I relate to this one … this was my class growing up. Except with less robotics and computers. It updates sporadically, but it always worth the read.
Bunny
I don’t know what to say about this one. It is chaos and discord at it’s finest. Combine that with cute little bunnies and you’ve got it all.
Candi
Generic college drama that has some funny jokes and anime style drawing. It’s silly, not the best out there, but not the worst. If you’re reading on Keenspot anyway, just stop at this one as well.
C'est la Vie
Bitter, dark humor that I adore. She is hateful, yet somehow likable. I love this comic, it makes me warm and squishy inside ... warm and squishy with hateful, squirrelly wrath and venomous rage. Just the right thing to start you day in the morning.
Chugworth Academy
This one is silly and fun. It has an armadillo, a boy whose hung like a donkey and a woman who is way too smart for him. It’s fun and has some very amusing moments.
Coffee Achievers
This comic is completed. Done by the same chap who draw Joe Love Crappy Movies, it is the story of magic, comedy and coffee. Throw in some hot lesbian action and you have a nine chapter bit of fun.
College Roomies from Hell!!
This one is a staple to my reading. It’s silly, funny, plot filled and dramatic. It has everything I look for not only in a comic, but also in a story. Follow the many plot twists and turns as these roommates try to stave off a crazy mother, the devil himself, a were-coyote and still pass college.
Commissioned
Ahh… gamers. I love this comic. It is about a gaming group who get together and play various RPGs. You can follow not only their lives, but also their campaigns. It’s really funny, but if you’re not a gamer, you probably won’t get it. Do you possess the power of the d20?
Errant Story
Poe is one of my favorite comic artists. He wrote Exploitation now and gave it up in favor of this comic. It features an atypical mix of elves, magic, sex, time ninja, and, of course, errants. Meji wants power so she can pass her final project at school and Ian wants the power to cure his sister. Throw in a human assasine who doesn’t want to be there yet feels compelled to follow the girl and an ancient elf who tags along for reasons yet unknown and you have a complex story with great illustration. It’s so complicated there is a Wiki page to explain it all.
Friendly Hostility
Brought to us by the author of Boy Meets Boy, this is a pseudo sequel about a pair of male lovers, their family and the antics they find themselves in. I love this comic as much as I loved Boy meet Boy. Great drama, great comedy and just a whole lot of fun.
General Protection Fault
This is one of the staples of webcomic reading. GPF has been around for a long time on a constantly updating schedule. It is tech, sci-fi and adventure laid all into one. Lots of drama, action and humor to keep anyone entertained.
God Mode
Generic video game webcomic. Mildly amusing, nothing special.
Girly
The continuation of Cute Wendy! I love Girly. Follow Otra and Winter through their adventures. In fact, they try to have an adventure everyday. Throw in hot lesbian action and you’ve got comedy gold.
Joe Loves Crappy Movies
This is movie humor. If you don’t watch a lot of movies, you probably won’t get it. It updates when the author sees another movie. He sees a lot of them. It is all about crappy movies and the jokes that people should tell about them. If you’re not into movies, you will still like it. It mocks all the right movies in all the right ways.
Least I Could Do
I don’t know why I like this comic, but I do. Follow the exploits of a sex-machine. He is a great big geek who still manages to get laid. A LOT. It’s pretty funny and well drawn. It simply amuses me.
Machall
Oldie but goodie. Sporadically updated, but usually funny. I think at one time there was a plot, but it comes and goes as it sees fit.
Misfile
This is a cute manga-like comic. Even the plot shouts shoujo anime. It’s cute and addictive. Angels, boy turned girl and all the antics that ensue.
Ornery Boy
He dark, bitter and much like coffee without the kick. I love the grouchy humor of this comic. There is even a zombie. Who doesn’t like zombies?
The Pet Professional
This is about a guy who kills pets much like an assassin kills people. He changes the events of the world and loves every second of it. The Dolphins are out to get us… and not the ones from ’72.
Questionable Content
Seraphim pointed me in the direction of this comic. I love it. Drama, realistic dialog and indy rock. This is all about angst without being emo and whiny. I like it.
Real Life
One of the longest running comics on the net. It follows the real life of the author with dramatic and comedic liberties obviously taken. These days it updates when he can as he is going to chef school and doesn’t have the sort of time he used to.
Scary-go-Round
Crazy, British humor. I love the non sequitor nature of this comic. It’s funny and action packed with hallarious antics and off-beat adventures. Remember, tea makes all the difference when facing armed burglars.
Short Packed!
Brought to us by the same man who brought us It’s Walky! and Joyce and Walky. This is about a bunch of people who work in a toy store and their antics through the day. They are trying desperately to remove the drama tag that has been pulled off of their comic.
Sinfest
Everyone loves Slick Daddy and Monica. If Slicky was real, I’d date him. A great comic … touching at times and offensive at others. A great mix of realism and comedy.
Sluggy Freelance
This is the first webcomic I started reading. I’ve been following it since about 1998… or maybe ’97, I don’t remember. A long ass time to say the least. Torg, Bun-Bun, Riff and Zoe all have tons of adventures. It has mutated from its original form of html and web design humor into a sci-fi, action packed pseudo horror comedy. It’s nifty.
Stuff Sucks
I just found this comic and it’s interesting. It amused me enough to want to see where it goes.
Two Lumps
Cat humor. If you have cats, you’ll love this comic. If not, you won’t.
User Friendly
The second ever comic I read. I started reading this only a few days after I started reading Sluggy. One of the staples of online comics. Tech humor for certain, but also religion humor and commentary on everyday life.
Wapsi Square
I love the Wapsi Square. Great drawing, great action, great story line. This comic has it all. Then again, any comic with a God of Alcohol in it deserves to be worshiped for the awesomeness that it possesses.
