I started this blog around April 2005. It was a shitty blog then and it is a shitty blog now. To be honest, it is fairly pointless. I write here to rant, pontificate and spew my thoughts onto the Internet. Perhaps I do this because I have a fear of leaving nothing behind in this world when I go, or perhaps I'm just bored.

I'd like to think that I write well, but I know that there are those out there who write much better than I. That is the reason I am a scientist adn not an author.

I go by the handle Utopia because I can. This place is called Abstract Utopia because I don't believe there is such a thing as a rue and perfect place, just our own abstractions of what they should be.I am an imperfect creature. I am foul-mouhted and ill-tempered. I am not a nice person and I don't care. I am at ease with who I am. If you don't like it, fuck you. I don't care. Go read some other random and useless drivvel that finds its way onto the Internet.
