Arrg, they wiggle....

It arrived. By it, I mean they. Them. No, not aliens. Though near enough. Yes - it's Freja's kittens. They wriggle and wiggle! They must have arrived some time friday night we guess. Under a chair in my bedroom, inside my PJ's. No, not in the carefully prepared nesting box. Ooooh no. That would be far too easy. Instead she ruined my favouriate night top. But, on the other hand, they are kinda cute. One has a white fluff formation on its back that looks like a large, double-headed battleaxe. How bizzare.
The mother is fine. Licky, clingy, noisy... but thats normal.
Signing off, back to the maternity ward.

Jellyfish

My mother, is a jellyfisher. This won't make any sense unless you have seen the second 'Bridget Jones' film. By my definition, this is not a good film. However, it does bring to light a curious - if sadly true - personality trait which my mother seems to share...

New Year

Happy New Year to everyone out there, and Happy Yule, or Christmas, or anything else you have been celebrating that I have missed due to my temporary kinda-absence. I spent Christmas at my parents house, and most of the time up to and around New Year there too. I suppose I have kind-of made some New Years resolutions, though I don't usually make any... for almost the same reason as Utopia explains in her blog, but sorry hon - there is no way I can get away with typing anything as cheesy as that, giggling would cause typing to cease. Here they are - not so much New Years resolutions, but 'things I would like to accomplish next year'....

- Drink more water... I know your supposed to drink so much water per day, and I never drink any. Just caffinated and well-milked tea.

- Get back to England, at some blissful point.

- Attempt to be less of a bitch to those people I hate, and instead pity them for their mockable stupidity and/or idiocy.

- Maybe loose 5-10kg or so. Now, let me get this straight, so people don't think I'm some crazed anorexic girl. I aint. I am happy with the way I look (I don't like it, I just live with it, it's worked for me so far.) and I don't worry about my weight. My weight tends to fly about a bit, I eat what I like and don't worry over much. But. Over the last few months I haven't been working at a physical type job, as I was previously. Therefore I have gained weight - I haven't gained bulk, but what muscles I have kinda turned into fat. It doesn't bother me overly that I weigh more, but I don't like the thought that I'm weaker and not as healthy as I was before. Therefore, I don't intend to loose weight by 'dieting', I intend to loose the weight via excercise - so that I go back to the healthy shape I was before. *stops ranting, pants* Ok?

- To try and be nicer to my Hubby and treat him more like the wonderful guy he is. *twinkle*

- To be able to have a sensible Polish conversation by the end of the year.

- To bake more.

- To stop being such a pain in the ass when I am ill.

- To try and be less stubborn.

Ok, I don't think I will really achieve any of these. I'll throw in these, so I wont feel quite as stupid when I don't:-

- Get a pet Ferret and call him Torg. (Won't happen, too expensive.)

- Learn to love mustard. (As if! Ha!)

- To spend more time actually blogging, than fiddling with my blog templates. (Well.... we'll see.)

- To actually find a website design I am happy with, and finish it! (I've been trying this one for....hmm.... 5 or so years already.)

Alrighty, thats enough from me today.

P.S Oh, Top Cat - I finally got around to adding you to my blogroll, I hope thats ok :)

Sorting

I decided it was finally time to start sorting out the mess which moving from England had left me with. For those who don't know, I recently moved to Cyprus from England (where I have lived all my life) and along the way several crates of my belongings got smashed and destroyed - CD's, PS2 games and books, mostly.

Here is a list of the CD's I have been left with... pathetic isn't it? The boxes which were damaged were the ones nearer the front, which were the ones I packed last....and therefore the ones which generally had my most frequently-used and much-loved posessesions within them. Ah, woe is me. But still. I have set up an Amazon wish list for myself, Here just so I can slowly buy back everything I once had - because things like this are difficult to get hold of here, for me - so it will all have to come from Amazon anyway.

Back to sorting for now, more later.
