The Trans-Atlantic Attack

What have I done today? Bugger all would be about the right answer. I intended to do a lot.... I even started the day with a neatly printed to-do list! But I was foiled by a secret attack.... possibly from Utopia's Cubicle Ninjas distant English cousins, the Office Assassins. I came to work only to find.... my mouse wasn't working. And no, I don't mean that the one in the lab next door had died. I mean that I... c-c-couldn't...use.... t-the..... *sweats* c-c-computer!!! Heart attack time. I sat and twiddled my thumbs for 45 minutes until Kieran the I.T guy, other wise known as Creepy-Kieran-From-The-Basement, decided to show up at work (after taking a long detour via the gym, it seems.) He then temporarily fixed it (for about 2 minutes) and disappeared. Another 45 minutes later, he finally appears with an old ball model. I hate those. I am cushioned in luxury, too used to my comfy, optical, wireless, ergonomic thingery.
So all day I have been trying to get this thing to work while my humour and enthusiasm has been quietly draining, and my efficiency right down the pan.
Thus was their plan.
Utopia's Cubicle Ninja's have come to England, and they have struck. I am struckened, oh me.
