Friday 13th

I'm not one of these people who really believes in the negative power of friday the thirteenth. But for some reason yesterday, at work, everything went wrong.
I had to work the late shift again. The santising machine for the dishes broke, overflowed, and flooded the backroom. The lid of the drip-coffee machine just.... fell apart. So no drip coffee. We had to throw away 26 litres of milk that had somehow been overlooked, and had gotten out of date. We were mobbed by 30 or so school kids wanting to buy chocolate cream frappuchino's. I hate making those. And, I ran out of cream base. I went to frantically try to make more, by this point almost hyperventilating, and when I came back one of the whipped cream canister's somehow backfired and sprayed cream in my face. Attractive.
Anyway, I survived.
I don't know what it is about friday 13th for me. I don't particualarly believe that things will go wrong just because of the date; but somehow, at least for me, they always seem too.
Bah Humbug.
