A nasty shock

Well, yesterday sucked.

Not only did we NOT find the kitten, (Gods rest his little soul. He was a good kitty. A couragous kitty. A kitty of good moral fibre....) He is now officially Lost In Action. Probably even Killed In Action. But then it got worse.

I was just finishing a very long, hard late shift at work, and then I got a phone call from hubby. I was grumpy and snapped at him for not already being on his way to pick me up. He then managed to quietly croak that he couldn't walk down as he'd been hit by a car.

He's ok, except his knee is fucked up where the car hit him, and he's generally scratched and bruised. (As I guess anyone would be having been rolling on tarmac.)

Some fucking cunt (And I don't mean cunt as in, Utopia is a cunt, but a complete and utter CUNT) of a greek stopped to let him across the pedestrian right-of-way crossing... then his car shot forward and hit him. Stupid fucking cunt.
