Late Night
Its another late night for me - 4 o'clock in the morning so far. I have a shitty cold, and I am making merangue. This year I am planning ahead for Yule, so that I don't wake up on Wednesday and think, 'crap, feast, er... food, right...'. This will be the first Yule I spend with Hubby, so I'd like it to be as nice as possible - I have certain issues with the 'niceness' of this time of year, but I want to at least make the best of it we can. While I am waiting for my various foodery and bakery thingies to cook and chill and freeze, I am quickly typing up this entry, pottering around Evermore coding a little, and working on my christmas presents for Hubby. Due to total lack of money, his Yule presents include two new blog templates. Pff. How bad a wife am I? :( I'll try and make sure that the house is nice and clean by the time he wakes up, and that there is lots of homemade food and goodies for him.
Top Cat - You wanted to know why I came here, etc. Well...here it is, the not-so-saga-like saga of my not-quite-epic journey to Cyprus.
I lived in England. My parents lived in Cyprus. I had some stuff in England that I wanted - nay, needed - to get away from. My mother is the Goddess of innapropriate pressure from family members. I caved. Also, I love to Scuba Dive and cannot do that in England, originally my work here was to involve this but for many reasons it currently cannot.

thanks for sharing a wee bit of your Cyprus journey and thank you for not pointing out my misspelling of Cyprus.
I still think you should return to England for employment(being broke all the time makes everything look and taste like shit), then you could return to Cyprus for SHORT visits to the family and scuba diving.
