Aunty Sera!

So, no entry for a few days. Why, you ask? (I doubt many asked; I don't care; I'm answering.) Well, because hubby and I were squatting at my parents. Well. Kinda. Maybe not squatting because its not illegal and they knew we were there. My parents zipped off to England for three weeks (Jealous? Me? No.....), to see my Brother and his new baby.. which was born on Sunday morning weighing 7lbs and joyfully bearing the name 'Alina Hui Jones'. (Or maybe not joyfully, we'll see when she goes to school.) I'll put up a picture of her as soon as I get one, apparently she is beautiful and has my Bro's colouring. That was something we were wondering about, as her mother is Chinese and her father English... my friend Lydi suggested very rudely that she might come out 'looking like she just needs a good wash'. Nasty nasty, thats my neice your talking about. *hmpfl* But no, apparently she looks like my Bro except for her lips, which are certainly her mothers. Awww.

Babies aside, and back to the trip to the parents. There were several reasons for this;
- Purging their house of christmas presents.
- Erecting their christmas tree (We haven't done that yet - will probably get around to it on New Years Eve, and hour before they return....).
- Hot Water (They have it, we dont.)
- Satallite TV (They have it, we dont.)
- Food. (They have it, we dont. Well not much.)
- Escape from Freja.
- Escape from the noisy neightbours upstairs (Who sound like they put their kids in barrels every evening and roll them around for kicks.)
- Etc, etc, etc, yadda yadda.

Now I have returned home and... hubby is sleeping while I clean the apartment through.
Hrmpf.
That sounded horrible; its not meant to be; I love to clean; he likes to sleep. So everyone is happy. But generally I'm happy as long as he is happy - simple minded that I am.

Enough babble... There's still work to be done! *grabs a cloth and anti-bacterial cleaner and charges headlong into the kitchen, scaring cat and catching kimono sleeve on arm of chair. Argl.*
