Predator/Prey

Sometimes I think that what humanity needs is a natural predator. (no, not a sexual predator, those get fed to the sharks first) We mess up the planet and spread with wild abandon like mice without a cat. A community festering as it grows, distracted by meaningless things... just wanting more for the sake of having it. Ruining more, consuming more, and wasting more for the shit and giggles of it. Where is the balance to it. Where's the big arse land shark to cull the herd. The rabid super sized house cat on a rampage for its owner with a side of kibble and bits. We cease to evolve because we have no genetic need to. Technology is our false evolution. We are carried on the back of our technology. Sustainability and time. There is a limit to all things.
