I see you shiver...

The Probe is off to the mechanic on the back of a flatbed. Stuck in park (it does start)... I don't THINK it's the transmission because I never heard any strange noises or lurches the last time I drove it... Lord only knows. Now entering freak out period of anticipation. The one thing I can't handle... when your mind starts blowing things out of proportion and you start over preparing yourself for the worst. I just hope to god it's not some catastrophic price. I can't afford it.

Must ride into work with another tomorrow. Take their car to Wapak to pay my Uncle's real estate taxes (late, see prior entry)... drive back to Lima and go to the college to work... drive to Apollo and work. yada yada yada ad nauseum.
