Dream - Dogs

Had a weird dream last night. Revolved around the fact that a family friend had gone out and gotten us a dog. A blue-tick hound. And I was extremely upset about it... not wanting it.

Now, considering the fact that we currently have no dogs. And the devastating nature in which we lost them. I can understand my trepidation in not wanting another or not being ready for another one right now. What is somewhat puzzling to me is why it was that friend that was the source of the dog... and why it was that kind of dog.
