After taking a shower yesterday, I got all dried off, dressed, bend down to pick up my dirty clothes to take to the laundry, and out jumps a big arse wolf spider. Naturally I jump back and do the "Jazus, Mary and Joseph" thing. Cocky thing even has the audacity to posture at me like its all my fault, waving its front arms about and such trying to make itself look bigger.

Battle ensues with shoe. WHACK! Dead spider number one of the season flushed down the toilet. Welcome to Spider Battle season.

Get up today, Mom has a huge bite under her eye where a spider bit her last night. Revenge of the arachnids. Posts a shoe in every room for easy access.
