I will vote for...

....anyone who can promise to cut these friggen gas prices in half! I don't care what they do or whose country we have to nuke to do it. Just git 'er done!

Suffice it to say that the true test of ones self worth would be anyone who could afford to drive the streets today. So basically, if I see someone tooling around in a sports car with the roof off and no shirt and tie just meandering, it's safe to say they are independently wealthy. Especially if it's on a weekday.

I do NOT heart Huckabee.

Michael Dale Huckabee...

This man must not make it into the White House.

Period.

The Clinton Dynasty is far more desirable than this bible thumping, one nation under one god Republican Bush clone.

The Religious wrong.

"Love thy neighbor"
"Pray for their sins"
"Love thy fellow man"
"Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us."

My ass!

The most hypocritical of people, worse than reformed smokers are the religious intolerant right. I want to give you two examples of people being overly anal.

A woman I know joined myspace because of my suggetion. She has allot of god people like "Myspace for Jesus" in her top friends. We giggled about how I'm mixed in with them also. That was funny ...then.

So recently I created this really cool avatar that morphs between a Baphomet sigil and my DJ Darkstar logo. It was the first one I ever did like this. I was kind of proud of it.

DJ_SDarkstar_Satan_Morph_Light

Anyway... I wrote some script to be able to use it as a comment on peoples myspace. Now I know that may not flush with everyone, but you'd figure if it was someone I've known for about 10 years and allegedly knows me well enough, I should be able to post something freely. I mean, it's a comment... She has like 900 friends, so eventually it would get buried anyway.

Me no speakee

So...here's something that boggled me.

I'm at work in the day job of retail. Two Mexican women come in. Now I get these on occasion but we make due. This one bothered me more than ever.

"Hello, welcome to (insert establishment name here)... What do you need today?"

"Hello...joo speaky spanee?"

"Ooooh... Uh gee... No. I don't. Sorry."

Now , I know I look a tad hispanic to some, but this next sentence started the synapses in my brain to electrify like that scene in Darkman.

"No?!? Soooo...WHY JOO NO SPEAKEE SPANEE??"

In my head...explosions are going off as my blood begins to boil and the thoughts race within my head.

"ohhh.. I dunno..." I think to myself, "maybe because I live in a country that's a major world superpower that has this little thing about speaking ENGLISH as a minor prerequisite when you come across it's borders??? Yet here you villaify me for not speaking your language naturally and fluently when I truly have no REASON too?!??!"

The balls of some people. Not for nothing, but the largest most widely used language above english is Chinese. So if I should know ANY second language it should be that...NOT "spanee". That irked me for days. It's not the first time either, as I said before. I can understand the idea behind the question, but to become indignant about it just floored me. Melting pot we are? Yes. Sesspool for the lazy who don't desire to assimilate our cultures yet demand rights and want to make money on our shores and take jobs away from our citizens? No. Shit people... Make an attempt to do as the Romans do when in Rome. Oh wait... this is futile. You can't read it anyway because I didn't write this in "spanee".

A little extreme, wouldn't you say?

I found this picture on the web somewhere, and I started to wonder:

How bad can a presidents approval rating get??
Ok, I never liked this war...but who really likes war?
I never liked Bush' bible thumping brand of totalitarian politics.
I do feel our freedoms have been trampled on and fear some sort of future socialist regime...

HitlerBush.jpeg

And why? Because we've nothing to believe in but faceless gods harvested like the golden calf for the sake of political power.

Stop me...I'm starting to sound like a beatnik. Must be the coffee...could be the return of my bohemian side.

I have have no idea what party he's in...

...nor do I care but... I think I would vote for him. I think I actually need to get behind this. After reading his political platform, I agree with so much of it that I don't care what party he's in, be it Democrat, Republican,Libretarian, Independent... I don't really care. This is almost as exciting as the campaign for Jonathon "The Impaler" Sharkey for Governor and eventual President too (Odd that that site is down). I like Walkens thoughts on stem cell research and abortion the best. SOMEONE may finally have it down!

Walken_2008.jpeg

However....he still needs to answer to exactly what he WAS doing the on that boat the fateful night Natalie Wood died... Hmmmmmmmm...

Unfortunately... as good as this platform sounds, it's all one big hoax.

Occult representation in our nations government?

Well it would be about time!

Somehow, Webkittyn stumbled upon this and we looked over the website. There's a man in Minnesota named Jonathon "The Impaler" Sharkey running for Governor of the state in 2006. He started a party called VWP which stands for the Vampyres, Witches and Pagans Party. I like the idea of the party. It's a party for occultists and believers in the paranormal. I would support this if for nothing but it's ethereal aspect.

There are no political parties geared towards the other religious or spiritual aspects of our culture. This man may be a vanguard to the future. In relation to the Epical movement, he may be a great asset to both the spiritual cause and our nation. Witches have been a third world religion and villiafied for far too long since the Salem witch trials. The only representation or rather recognition by our government is the Temple of Set, a Satanic church formed by Dr. Michael A. Aquino VI, a former U.S. Army Colonel. He vanguarded Satanism as a recognized religion in the eyes of the government. Yet still...many subcultures go unrecognized...ridiculed and laughed at.

This country is too full of "christian value" that there's no room for other beliefs. Atheists lobby for a "godless America" yet they aren't taken seriously either. Someone needs to unify all the non christian sects of life. The religious right is dangerous. It infringes on our rights and freedoms. "Freedom of religion" my ass! Only as long as it's THEIR religion.

Oh the revolution has just begun. RISE UP! RISE UP!

Rockers get the shaft yet again.

Since the beginning of Rock and Roll, rockers and rappers get the shaft. They're blamed for far too many things from bad behaviour to school shootings. When it comes to the latter, no one thinks anything of inner city kids carrying guns to school or getting involved in gang related shootings at an educational institution. Most of those schools these days have invested in tighter security or at least metal detectors.

Let's move onto the latest line of killers. The bad rap of today going to: Goths.

It's amazing how subcultures morph into something so far away from their roots. Now turning into the next mainstram, goths are getting a worse rap than ever.

The Trenchcoat Mafia:
Kept amongst themselves, wore long black jackets, seemed depressed, listened to Goth and Industrial music. Shot up Columbine High School.

Jeff Weise: Native American Neo-Nazi Goth. Kept to himself, seemed depressed, wore black, listened to goth and industrial. Shot up his school in Red Lake Minnesota.

Scott Dyleski: Kept to himself, wore long dark jacket, seemed depressed, listened to Goth and Industrial music. Bludgeoned Pamela Vitale, wife of high profile defense attorney and TV commentator Daniel Horowitz.

All three were instantly tied into Satanism. How stereotypical is that? The unfortunate part about these incidences is not that they are goths. It's the fact that they are simply tragedies with one common bond. They are all alleged to be goths. Goths themselves are in an uproar. Usually because of the stigmata being attached to them. They are being
villaified as devil worshippers or overtly depressed or detached from life or obsessed with death.

First let me say, I've been a goth and to those who don't understand the Epical way, they would consider me a goth still out of ignorance. ( See: Goths vs. Epicans ). So basically I understand the subculture and it's history and how it's changed drastically since its inception.

Katrina and the Waves.

I guess the band "Katrina and the Waves" would never have thought that one day they could be referenced to the worst natural disaster in the history of the United States.

The death toll increases as more and more succumb to the loss of habitable situations. Louisiana and it's outerlying states like Mississippi have minimal to no power. They say it would take months as the entire state needs to rebuild it's entire power grid. No clean running water, no food, no clean clothes, no power and the surfaceing of the dead both new and old mixing with risen sewer water make for a toxic soup that slowly takes the lives of it's inhabitants. This is just as bad if not worse than the Sri Lanka tsunami we gave aid too at Christmas.

But we watch the news... We know all this. I'm not a news reporter. That's what CNN is for. I'm here for the thoughts of the other plains of existence.

I've heard a story in which I'm searching for, of a voodoo priest who's house survived and all it's animals within, whilest the rest of the city was drowned out. The Dark Force is strong in him. If this is true... Did he just prove whose religion is more powerful? I will continue my search for the facts on this story.

In the meantime... I'm feeling rather sullen. I'm touched by the souls of those lost from a very occult based state. There's an energy in the air that appears to originate from that area that resinates in the ethereal plane. I don't know if you feel it as I do, but it's very much akin to the feel of the souls lost on 9/11.

This only starts a very bad season, where Mother nature is the new terrorist. The height of hurricane season is upon the southern region of the American hemisphere. Couple these and potential losses with the upcoming 9/11 anniversary, and you're going to have an ebbing in the psychic and emotional plane. Those in tune, will feel the nagging buzz in their metaphysical sweet spot. Truly a somber time... I do recommend you all try to donate something to the Red Cross , who was rather helpful when I was burned out my house and had to start from scratch. I know how these people feel to have all you know ripped from them. Even if it's $5.00... just do it. It's also tax deductible for you greedy fucks out there.

May the Darklords have mercy on your souls.

Be afraid...be very afraid

I got this as an email... I thought I'd share it:

"New York has reported the very first case of Mad Cow disease in the state! New Yorkers will try and go about their daily lives as the reports of Mad Cow start to snowball!

The Mad Cow has reared its ugly head and may be here to stay. Up to this point I did not fear Mad Cow disease. This photo makes it abundantly clear that New Yorkers are all in immediate grave danger.

This is a very serious and dangerous disease! Please, pass this along. Warn your friends about this danger before its too late. "

A lovely day for terrorism.

I woke up today with the a buzzing in my ears. I had left the TV on last night. I don't know why. The cat was watching it more than I was. 4 bombs rocked London the day after they get elected to host the 2012 games. I'll set aside any snide New Yorker sour grapes remarks due to the tragedy that this is. Especially now that there's that air of terrorist post 9/11 doom lingering through the air. In Manhattan, their doing truck searches again. The panic starts all over. Like the McCarthy era, we'll be hunting for anything that smells remotely like a terrorist. I'll be posting the AP news report on the Dark Forums in General Atrocities. I'll also put the article here as an extended entry at the end if you're still around to read it.

There's a general statement. There's so many atrocities these days. Freaks are picking up little kids like M&Ms these days. I can barely keep up with the lost and found list anymore. I think they abduct as many kids as cars are stolen. This all reminds me that "Killer Tune" needs to be pushed back up on the creation list. I have a new keybardist I met some months ago who seems very much like me in allot of respects... I must get out a call to him.

So in the style of a superhero I sit in my lair and plot. This is another wake up call that says the world needs something more. Something more than a man. It needs an anthem and an ethos. It needs to be uplifted from the mire. It needs it's anti-hero to descend into the night and save them. The anti-hero needs to stop sitting around on his duff wondering if he's good enough for the job when he should know he was destined and born to do. He also needs to know that time is screaming for him to make his appearance NOW. And so he must prepare. He must amass his wealth of support and shine favour upon those who would help along the journey from muse to apostle. He must realize that this is more than just a musical venture, but the way to shape the minds of man and possibly make a difference. Let those who disbelieve laugh and think it folly. Let them bust a gut until they can no longer breathe. In the end, the world will be all the better for itself whence the prophet rises it's phoenix fire wings into the air.

Hodge Podge Blog II

My it's been a busy time these past few weeks. Since Cinco De Mayo to Memorial Day, life's been odd.

Daily Horrors

Is there a hunting season on little girls this year? I'm starting to lose track of all the kids abducted and found dead. That and kids with guns on killing sprees. Let's see, Ohio just got on the map with the prom kid killer who gunned down 6 people, no? I may end up rewriting "Killer Tune" COMPLETELY based on the last 6 months. Why is it every day seems to be an episode of Law and Order SVU? I don'y know if reality feeds TV or TV feed reality. Life imitates art the hard way?

Entertainment Views

I actually watched an entire season of American Idol (as much as I hate the show). Probably because of the two "rockers" (or the closest they're going to get to rockers). I wanted to see how far they'd go. I didn't expect one to make it to the final two. Bo Bice... Southern rocker. Good voice... Don't know why he sold out though. It's quite possible that the chances are slimmer in Alabama than here in New York or in L.A.. In a way, I'm glad he lost. He could get a much better deal on his own than the slave contract Cowell signs them too.

I think I should try and pitch an idea... I'll write it here to keep the "copyright" on it. Why not make a show called "Rock and Roll God" or something like that? It would allow ANY age bracket in, and be subject to single votes only via phone number registration and internet. This way there would be a more accurate vote rather than kids stuffing ballots. I'd get real rock legends to be judges... Like Trent Resnor of NIN, Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, David Bowie or Dave Gahan of Depeche Mode. I'd try to keep the rock diversified yet not pop.

Tonight's musical entertainment for the Idol withdrawal victims: "Hit me baby, one more time" is an NBC show that takes old 80's acts and puts them back up for review and vote by the audience to see if they still have what it takes. I might DVR this. Only, some of the bands have already done this. Take "A flock of seagulls" with their hit "I ran". They were already put back together and played live on "VH1-Bands Reunited". Once again, originality is gone.

Ok... Enough about proving the detriment of when reality TV when mixes with music.

Michael Jackson. Closing arguments are to begin today, and somehow, I think the Jacko just might get off....if only just barely. But he would definitely kill himself if he got sentenced for , what is it? 18 YEARS?
It's just hard to fathom, what with O.J., Kobe, Blake all surviving the fires of jail hell. MJJ isn't the type for jail. He'd commit suicide first.

Jesus saves?

The passing of Pope John Paul II is a somewhat somber event. Though Sinead O'Connor may have shredded his picture to pieces on Saturday Night Live and summarily shredded her career with it back on October 3rd, 1992 while shouting "FIGHT THE REAL ENEMY!". I remember this whole controversy, and found a very interesting article on it, her and the NBC post incident cover-up. Read it here: Sinead O'Connor shreds Pope John Paul II's picture on Saturday Night Live.

Anyway... These days, it seems like the world has been in a funk. You can't turn on the news or TV at all without live dead pope coverage. Ok... I can understand that. He was a great and charismatic leader, for which the world mourns his loss. With this, many will claim to have re-discovered god or Jesus or what have you. Others will go to church more or try to feel more christian. This post traumatic stress is akin to when New Yorkers all decided to be noticeably nicer to each other in some sort of mass kumbaya attitude after the 9/11 attacks.

But now comes that bastard stepchild of media sensationalism... Obscure semi-related stories. I found one in today's New York Post. It boggles my mind how people misconstrue things and re-interpret them to suit their needs during major world events.

In an article next to the "Weird but true" section (this had to be intentional) titled: "CRASH MIRACLE ;'Born again' driver survives fiery death collision on Belt'".

The irony starts from the first ludicrous lines: "A born again Christian in an SUV- whose license plate read "I M SAVED" - miraculously survived a fiery collision yesterday that killed a retired firefighter who was going the wrong way on the Belt Parkway. Curtis Plunkett, 30, of Elmont L.I. was in stable but critical condition at Brookdale Hospital after the 4 am crash."

Here's where I start to boggle.

"Retired FDNY Lt. Walter Knobloch, 59, of Massapequa L.I. was killed after his 1999 Ford Crown Victoria crashed into Plunkett's 2003 Mercedes SUV."

Ok... How do we end up glorifying this? Jesus didn't save this man... A 3 ton truck did. A Crown Vic hitting an Mercedes SUV is like a like a man trying to tip a rhino. How can you go on and say Jesus saved this man? I hate when people try to make things look more mystical and religious than they really are. I guess this is a prime example of what we call "spin".

If Jesus really saved this guy, why didn't he save this decorated hero fireman? You don't get to be Lieutenant by just getting kitties from trees. He must have saved countless lives in his career, now retired since 2002. But no... Jesus saves the guy in the behemoth instead. My mother used to tell me when I was young "God looks out for fools and babies..." Well this guy was foolish for driving the wrong way on the Belt Parkway, but god didn't save him, evidently.

15 years ago, when I was younger and more foolish, I slammed into a bridge backwards in a spinout at 125 mph. I was in my first sports car, a tiny 1979 280ZX. I should have died that day, but I walked away from it literally. At the point of impact, prior to this collision, someone had spray-painted an inverted pentacle and 666. Does this mean Satan saves too?

I'm sorry... This just rubbed my fur just enough to write this.

Beware the Ides of March.

Ok... So by definition, the Ides of March are merely the marking of the 15th day of that said month, however, both Caeser and Shakespeare did make that a rather ominous saying. In all, this past mid March has been an interesting and somber time in the worlds news. Let's see... So far:
*Japan was rocked with a 7+ quake;

*Terri Shiavo is literally a withering vegetable and her husband sits and waits for the big payoff when she dies. Rumour and innuendo point out a possible history of abuse;

*In Minnesota, Native American Neo-Nazi (now THERE'S a confused lad) racist purist Jeff Weise, the "todesengel", takes the lives of 10 including himself in the worst school spree shooting since Columbine;

*Little 9 year Jessica Lunsfords body is found buried 150 yards from the home Cooey abducted her from. Just the words "we found all of her" suggest something rather disgusting, especially when they've yet to reveal more from the autopsy than there's "evidence of sexual abuse".;

*The "Vampire of the Desert", Muhammed Bijeh is gleefully tied to an iron girder post and lashed 100 times then publicly hung writhing from a crane in Iran for drugging, raping, killing and leaving to rot 17 young Iranian boys, eating the leg of one. Now THERE'S justice if you ever saw it. Perhaps BTK should suffer the same fate.

All in all... Big business for the newscasters, but a sad state of affairs for our time. Inflation rises, gas fuel is at an all time inflationary high, the Pope is practically on his deathbed, Congress is involved in moral issues where government intervention should not tread. You'll rarely see good news on TV because happiness doesn't sell papers or get ratings in the news hour. I've been glued the last 4 days to the cable news channels and came up with this affirmation... It's a really twisted world.

Now this just gets odder and odder. As what seems to be a wave of mass depression across the lands, you can see it in the faces and furrowed brows of passers by. On the one hand, some are turning to christian gods. The religious right media bandwagon is out in full force, beating its drums trying to turn people to their god even when their own pontif is at deaths door.

I wonder... How well does this faith uplift the masses it serves? I mean, let's say you pray and pray and pray and nothing happens? The bible preaches that man was born with "free will" which is what allegedly sets him apart from the animals. I think it's just their gods way of letting himself off the hook for not answering prayers. Sort of his celestial legal loophole. You can almost hear the excuse:" I gave you free will... You used it to make your bed, now LIE in it."

"Know thy enemy". Ok... Try this take. What if you can't beat 'em? Is joining them really so bad? By that I don't mean becoming a serial rapist, no. What if you can't fight the ails of today? Are you going to wallow in it's negative messages? I think if you altered your thought patterns a wee bit, you may enjoy what wretched times we must inhabit this dustbowl for. Embrace the darkness a little. I think if people did that more, there would be less death and spree-killing in the world. Take Columbines "Trenchcoat Mafia" and Jeff Weise. Had they known souls that understood their feelings of solitude or pain... Had they been accepted rather than outcast... had someone listened... Had they had had an outlet...Had someone spoken for them...been their voice... Would there be so many dead today?

I'm not saying our society should live in gothic gloom, nor am I saying that rose is the only color our glasses should be... I'm saying it's time to stop trying to pave over our underworld and trying to paint a gods ideals over our cracked plaster walls. Don't ignore what society calls "freaks", because they're more numerous in today's "normal" world than you think. They say we figuratively made them with tv, video game and movie violence, but it's been this way for centuries. The media just tries to keep up with the times.
And if it's really so bad, why are statistics saying most kids today are on a better track? Less casual sex, drugs and smoking... I wonder if these kids actually lied...considering the state of todays society.

I need to go now... I think I feel another song coming on.

Hodge Podge Blog

I need to spew some random thoughts. Some hopefully insightful, others mere fluffy passing opinions. I don't have fancy schmancy categories like some warbling kittens of the web I know.

Thanks:

First of all, a big thanks to our webdesigner, Kalilyn, for fixing the hacker damage! She fixed it so well, the original Dark Forums work now too!

Horror of the Week:

The final photos washed ashore of the impending tsunami victims, John and Jackie Knill. I've have an intense fear of tidal waves since childhood. To see these foolish people stand and snap pictures as a wall of water rushed up to them... makes you wonder why they didn't flee for safety. Or did they know it was their time to die?

Laughable Irony:

My L.I. Award would go to Apple for creating the iPod craze. Unwitting blind fools run out to buy the latest hot thing since the Sony FM Walkman!
Yet I see no one told them the drawbacks...
1)They're a high theft item.
2) The white headphones are a dead giveaway screaming "ROB ME PLEASE!" to any thief.
3) You can't DO anything ELSE with it. Unlike Pocket PCs or even Palm Pilots,
your only option for that price is music. No video games, photos, movie clips, internet access, organization, word program, music production, book readers, gps.... NOTHING! Just music. I'm sorry, but for the same money, a PDA is much more sound investment. At least for music files there are Winamp clones and WMP.
4) $1 a song to fill it up could run into the thousands. Other players, if you must have one, use mp3 WMA files which are easier and cheaper to obtain.
5) if you fill it with tunes and the batteries die, you ship it to Apple for $99 and they return you an empty refurb without your songs.... Oh , but you got a new battery. Talk about betraying the public trust.
Bleh.

Disgust:

I'm going to gripe here. The world is disgusting me more and more, that if I were a god, I'd flood this anthill called Earth.

Y'know why the news is such a popular entertainment venue? It's because no matter what medium, be it print or televised, it's all the same. The sensationalism and exploitation of the worst in the world. I think this may be a reason why America is overly depressed. I think we do it to ourselves the same way we must gawk at car accidents and play love songs after a break up that cause more sorrow in memory than the joy from when coupled. Not only can you not whole heartedly believe or trust what is said on the news, the by-product, American depression, feeds fatcat pharmaceutical companies who develop drugs for our imagined or self inflicted ails. If you own a pharmaceutical company or broadcast news, we the foolish cattle line your wallets with green. I applaude these industries... These secretly evil empires, for exposing and exploiting human gullability. It is our own fault we allow ourselves to be manipulated in this way.

I'm disgusted in American Idols Simon Cowell. Not for the regular reasons, but for certain flip flop/ catch 22 statements he made about the music industry. If he claims to believe that the age of the music video has died, that's one thing... The fault lies on the shoulders of MTV and worse yet, the producers of lousy videos. If he also believes that there's a huge growing market for "older music" as in older genres for an older demographic ... with that in mind, why must Idol have an age cap at all? He has the media power behind him to change the face of the industry, but being the coward he is, he remains safely tucked away in the comfort zone. Bah!

I'm disgusted in...

men who beat children to death over peanut butter sandwiches...

...rock icons blow their lives over self gratified actions and now either get sued, succumb to criminal investigations or blow their wad on drugs or gambling...

sports figures kids can no longer look up too because they are artificially enhanced steroid robots...

Hopes, Dreams and Goals:

I guess these are more desires than anything. I need to repair all that is disarray. I need to make these obtainable dreams reality. I need to make amends to those most dear... They, who will be the foundation for my inner sanctum, my trusted council within whom I may place my trust. I need to extend my hand of help and sorrow to those who I've wronged and/or vowed to help. I cannot take those under my wing until I have prepared my own for flight.
I truly hope that those who've suffered from my present and past shortcomings, will understand that a greater reward lay in store for them for their help in tolerance of my time of struggle. The D'Sari leave no one behind.

A wave of death.

Mother nature is a cruel bitch. Nearly 150,000 dead from a tidal wave. We've seen it in the news, heard it on the radio and read about it daily in the papers. Damage in the billions of dollars. Possibly the worst natural tragedy in centuries. If the wave didn't kill them, the disease spread from the death contamination and pestilence did. It sure makes you ponder the frailty of the human condition. Mother Nature will always take care of herself. Like comedian Paul Mooney said once; "mother nature would shake us off like a dog shakes off fleas. " They have even predicted that a volcano in Africa could cause a tsunami by cracking and falling into the sea. The force would cause a wave so big, traveling at 600 MPH that would reach America and drown Manhattan similar in fashion to the motion picture "The day after tomorrow".

Doomsayers would use this a a platform to say that Armageddon is coming. God freaks would say that this is his way of punishment for man's sins. I lived through 9/11 and this dwarfs it in destruction and death toll.

Those of a more spiritual nature can practically "feel" the sorrow and possibly even the angst of those lost.

Politically, I find it ironic, that the United States, known in the middle east and Asia as "the great Satan" has donated or pledged in excess of 5 Billion dollars to the relief effort. 1 billion from private citizens. I guess Satan is a generous being. It must be his advertising budget.

I often wonder what type of "god" allows this to happen, and not at the hands of madman. What did they do to deserve this? Was it because they do not follow Christianity? I'm sure that churches in that circle might use that as a platform to further their cause also. Tragedies often spur megalomaniacs to use the situation to rally would be followers to their cause.

We truly are but so much stardust in the cosmos that we can be dashed away with a cleansing wave. How fragile we are. How precious is life, yet we neglect that fact as we stress ourselves silly over mundane inanities?

Ask yourself at the end of the day, "did I do anything to advance or enhance myself or my world today? Did I affect or touch anyone's life in hopes of a ripple effect?" If no, then maybe one might think less of griping about life and actually start LIVING it.

Those poor people in Sri Lanka... Those who only had huts don't even have THAT anymore. They were lucky enough to escape with their lives, if that. It's the victims. I guess that's the epitome of the word "victim". It's them we must feel for. May the find a better plane of existence than this.
