The Darkhours - Episode LXXXIV: Format CHANGE? YES WE CAN!
It's time to experiment into the future. After several practise runs with a working Virtual DJ program, the Darkhours takes on a new direction. There have been projected changes to the show and this is one of them. Along with that, expect future shows to have call in features via Skype for call in interviews and listener calls.
What you can expect tonight:
Actual club style mixed music blocks. I've been a club DJ for over 2 decades (some may have heard DJ Darkstar mentione on the old 92.7WLIR/WDRE) who can mixmaster live vinyl, cd and video. Mp3's are child's play to me. One of my specialties is successfully mixing the impossible. Be prepared for a serious wild ride. Expect experience an uncontrollable urge to dance and also expect to say "Oh my goth I LOVE this song!!"
This time, no serious theme, just fun with dark music from all over the various shades of gray to black...maybe some blood red, possibly some bizarre holiday tunes and discussions on all things bizarre, new movies and tv shows like talk of vampires in media like Twilight and Trueblood and more as the Fall/winter movies like The Spirit and The Punisher emerge in full force. Discussion on the dark world around us, impressions, dark humor and geeky silly banter. All the stuff that makes the Darkhours fun. Join us in chat as usual.
