In my quest for the perfect TV for the cheapest price (due to budget constraints), I've noticed that the bottom, once again most likely due to this horrid economy, is dropping yet again.
Last I looked, you could get a 50" plasma with a stand for $999 on the internet at Tiger Direct. Today in the newspaper, the retail side of that same company D.B.A. 6th Avenue Electronics now offers nearly the same deal if not a few dollars less only now the tv is 57 inches.
Basically, by Black Friday, as the Christmas season comes upon us and as the economy tanks, look for prices to plummet on electronics as retailers struggle to stay afloat.
It seems the best was is to wait.
