Creatures of Darkness

It's pronounced "Fraahnk-en-feline"

Well...he's back and stitched up and pissed. Well, maybe not so much pissed. More like antsy. He can't go out for the next 10 days or so because we won't let him, so he gets either bored or lonely. That and we won't let him interact with Templeton because we don't need the blood and hair clumps from a possible fight. They don't play well together when in the same room.

He's overly affectionate when I'm in the room and won't leave me be. After reading the post by Fatamorgana on the perils of smoking around pets at the Dark Forums, I think I'm completely stopping smoking in my bedroom with him around. It may be what caused the growths, so I'm not taking anymore chances.

He seems to be dealing well with the surgery. He's good with the stitches so far, so I see no reason for the Elizabethan collar (that cone thing you put on pets) and he seems rather spry and more agile daily. The docs did a thorough job getting the strip of growths out. Wednesday we should have biopsy results.

We'll keep you posted. Here's a few more shots of Frankenfeline:

Definitely a good choice to stop smoking! You will be rewarded with length of years! The cat looks like he is healing!
