I tell ya... WebKittyn is rather useful for media introduction. I probably would never have watched these things if it weren't for her... I originally had no interest in "Over*There"...y'know the war drama by Steven Bochco? So far it's another one to add to my realism tv repertoire. I still am mildy amazed that sponsored cable, as in cable tv with commercials, still gets away with the foul language thing. Not that cursing makes things real or not, it's just that it brings forth a sense of humanity. Face it... In personal situations, most people curse. It's just the generations. Sort of a sign of the times.
"Over There". Good realistic war time tv. Catch it. It seemed easy to jump into. Not for the cursing... But for the actual writing and realism of the Iraq war and it's toll on both the soldiers, their families and even the life of the insurgents. Trippy.
